Visioneer Expands Executive Management Team
Visioneer, Inc., a leader in intelligent imaging solutions, today announced it signed Don F. McMahan as executive vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas and Rusty L. James as vice president of channel sales for the Americas. McMahan has more than 20 years of industry experience and has spent the last 6 years building the Fujitsu channel and scanner business as vice president of sales for the U.S. and Latin America and is widely known as the architect of their success. James has 15 years of experience and has spent over 8 years in document imaging and enterprise content management channel sales, providing increasing levels of leadership in sales and sales management for Fujitsu.

McMahan joins Visioneer with a career history in the channel that includes 8 years at Fujitsu, managing both the printer products back in 1996 to the last 6 years managing the scanner business. Previously he spent two years with Hitachi America as Distribution Manager for their display products and was a reseller for 12 years in the color graphics market. He is on the AIIM board of directors, serving as Treasurer of the imaging trade organization. McMahan graduated from California State University at Fullerton with a B.A. in Communications. McMahan will be responsible for managing sales, marketing and customer service for Visioneer.
With over 15 years of sales experience, James brings an impressive array of leadership skills and experience to Visioneer. An industry veteran, he has over 8 years of channel sales experience in document imaging, and most recently served as director of U.S. channel sales at Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Imaging Products Group where he managed the U.S. field sales organization and helped build a national VAR channel.
Prior to Fujitsu, James held various executive sales positions at MobileComm, a provider of wireless messaging services, where he worked in direct sales as well as national retail accounts. James attended Texas Tech University and holds a B.A. degree in advertising. James will have responsibility for recruitment and development of the U.S. VAR channel, with a goal of creating awareness, demand generation and overall segment adoption of Visioneer's imaging product solutions.
Rusty James and Bob Scaglia, Visioneer's senior vice president of retail and e-tail channels, will report to McMahan. A thirteen-year scanner industry veteran, Scaglia joined Visioneer in 1998 and was responsible for expanding the Visioneer and Xerox-branded product lines resulting in 8 consecutive quarters of profitable growth.
