United States Justice Department Implements Relativity Software For E-Discovery Review And Advanced Text Analytics
kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, announced with TechLaw Solutions recently that the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys (EOUSA), a component of the U.S. Department of Justice (USDOJ), has adopted Relativity for the review and analysis of electronic and paper-based documents. Analysis capabilities include advanced text analytics through the Relativity Analytics feature set. Relativity Analytics powers functionality such as clustering, the automatic grouping of documents by similar concepts, as well as concept search, and the ability for end users to train the system to group documents based on concepts and issues they define.
Relativity is being deployed in EOUSA's Litigation Technology Service Center (LTSC) to provide electronic discovery services for all U.S. Attorneys' Offices, which include over 6,000 attorneys nationwide. EOUSA will use Relativity Analytics to empower U.S. Attorney teams to do more with limited resources, by allowing them to quickly locate key documents and increase their review speeds through enormous data sets in compressed time frames.
"We are thrilled that the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys has selected Relativity," said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. "Relativity Analytics will provide EOUSA with increased investigative and accelerated review capabilities."
Relativity was purchased through TechLaw Solutions, a pioneer in litigation support and electronic discovery management. TechLaw Solutions manages a GSA contract for government purchase of the Relativity platform.
