Square 9 Softworks Releases Version 3.0 Of The SmartSearch Content Management Suite

The cornerstone of SmartSearch 3.0 is Work XChange, a powerful yet easy-to-use new document workflow component that enables users to automate their key business processes. This optional module incorporates the same graphical drag-and-drop design interface as SmartSearch's standard Capture Workflow feature. With Work XChange, SmartSearch 3.0 features conditional Document Routing, Notifications & Escalations and Metadata Updates on documents within the database. Work XChange features both user-initiated and automated workflows to enable process automation.

In keeping with Square 9 Softworks' longstanding practice, SmartSearch 3.0 was developed with a strong emphasis on customer-requested enhancements. As a result, the core product includes enhancements such as Field Ordering, Column Sizing, Document Merging and the ability to email PDF files with an index field as a filename. Additional highlights include a range of tools for enhancing the search capabilities within SmartSearch, support for Windows 7 and support for 64-bit architecture on both client and server operating systems.
