Spatial Light Modulators (SLM)
LASER COMPONENTS delivers Spatial Light Modulators (SLM) as adaptive optical elements that modulate light spatially in amplitude or phase. The available devices are based on either reflective (LCOS) or translucent (LCD) liquid crystal microdisplays.
The reflective LCOS (phase-only) spatial light modulators are available in the PLUTO-2, LETO, and GAEA-2 models covering wavelength ranges from 350 nm to 1700 nm. The translucent LC 2012 LCD SLM is based on a translucent liquid crystal microdisplay with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels (XGA) and can be used for phase or amplitude modulation in the visible range. The LC 2012 provides The drive electronics packaged in a compact box for easy integration for optical setups.
