Sonangol And United Shine Sign Agreement For Construction Of Cabinda

Sonangol and United Shine took place today, June 4, in Luanda, during the opening of the Africa Oil and Gas Conference, held at the Talatona Convention Center, at the signing of the partners' agreement for the construction of an oil refinery gross conversion in the province of Cabinda.

It is recalled that the choice of United Shine resulted from a tender launched by Sonangol in 2017 for the construction of a refinery that should have a processing capacity of sixty thousand barrels of oil per day for the production of derivatives such as diesel , gasoline, fuel oil and Jet A1.

It should be noted that the construction of the Cabinda refinery is part of Sonangol's priorities and is part of the National Development Plan under the government's strategy of cost reduction with the importation of derivatives.
