Uintah County, UT (PRWEB) - Uintah County is now accepting electronic documents for recording through Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording service, providing document submitters with a faster, more cost-effective recording method online.

“We started to e-record to help speed up the process and to help with out-of-state recordings,” said Uintah County Recorder Brenda McDonald. “It benefits everyone, not just the customer. We can return the document quickly and if we have a problem and reject the document, it is a quick fix without the lapse of mail time.”

Using Simplifile’s secure, web-based service, customers ranging from title companies to banks, attorneys, and lien filers, have the ability to scan or upload and submit documents directly to the recorder’s office where they are reviewed, stamped, recorded, and returned electronically in minutes.

“So far we have had great success with e-filing,” McDonald said. “I am hoping that most of our recordings will come through Simplifile this next year. It cuts down on our mail returns and we don't have the worry of returning documents to the proper sender.”
Recording fees and payments can also be processed securely through Simplifile, helping to reduce payment errors and eliminate check-writing expenses.
