Simple Software's SimpleIndex Version 5.6 To Debut At ITEX 2007
New Features Provide Powerful Digital Copier and MFP Capture and Indexing Automation
Knoxville, TN – Simple Software announced that the latest version of its SimpleIndex document management software suite will debut at ITEX 2007 in Las Vegas on March 20th (Booth # 732). SimpleIndex enables any organization with a digital copier, MFP or document scanner to embrace document automation without a large financial, or labor, investment. Robust features like dynamic OCR (Optical Character Recognition), barcode recognition, and a 1-click user interface all make SimpleIndex the most affordable fully-automated document capture processing application available today.
"We're excited to introduce our new version of SimpleIndex at ITEX, and also welcome the opportunity to expand our channel partner program," said Kevin Carver, Simple Software's Business Development Director, "SimpleIndex eliminates costly user training and manual indexing keystrokes. We help copier dealers, and imaging VARs, increase revenues by providing their clients with advanced, and affordable, document indexing automation."
SimpleIndex also processes Microsoft Office, PDF, E-Mail and other files, not just scanned images. Template and dictionary matching algorithms, supporting regular expressions, are used to find key values within the text of those documents so they can be indexed accurately and automatically. SimpleIndex will manage any paper or digital file automatically for uploading to any EDMS or content management system. Also, SimpleIndex does not require metered, per document fees like other leading document capture applications.
