Diversified Information Technologies, a leading provider of document and information lifecycle solutions, recently announced that CEO and president Scott Byers was recently appointed to the Corporate Leadership Advisory Council of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The Corporate Leadership Advisory Council (Council) was established in 2007 by the U.S. Chamber to highlight and strengthen the importance of mid-market businesses to legislators, policymakers and regulators in Washington, and to amplify their collective voice on a wide range of policy issues. The Council serves as the primary vehicle through which mid-market business leaders provide input to formulate and advance the U.S. Chamber's strong pro-business agenda.

"I look forward to representing the Council in this important capacity," commented Byers. "Mid-market businesses such as ours have many unique business challenges including economic competitiveness and growth, international trade opportunities, political representation at the national and state levels and many others. The Council is an important vehicle for advocating on these critical issues."

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business federation representing the interests of more than three million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations.
