Reveille Software Announces Availability Of The Reveille Management Console For Documentum
Reveille Software, provider of the most widely- used experience and performance management (EPM) solution for enterprise content management (ECM) applications, recently announced the availability of the Reveille Management Console for Documentum. A new packaged software solution, it enables EMC Documentum customers to monitor actual end-user experiences and service levels within Documentum Webtop and TaskSpace-based applications, and gain visibility into Documentum capacity planning and virtualization.
Developed to address demands from Documentum customers, Reveille Management Console for Documentum provides an advanced dashboard that displays up-to-the-minute activity of the Documentum user community with information roll-up across the corporate enterprise. The solution monitors all Documentum Webtop and TaskSpace transactions, providing Documentum-specific analysis, including transaction volumes, user activity and Docbase/Repository activity.
"As content management becomes pervasive and part of critical enterprise services, Documentum administrators and business analysts now have complete visibility into actual end-user and application component performance," said Bob Estes, CEO of Reveille Software. "Reveille Management Console for Documentum uniquely instruments Documentum implementations and scales to meet the demands of large corporate enterprises."
Reveille Management Console for Documentum gathers metrics allowing corporations to plan for capacity and usage patterns, and to determine how hardware and software changes may impact corporate content management performance. This information is useful in analyzing the impact of virtualization and planning Documentum platform upgrades, such as moving from Documentum D5 to Documentum D6.x.
In addition, Reveille Management Console for Documentum enables customers to proactively monitor Documentum components, application processes, user experiences and business metrics associated with business-critical content management solutions.
"Documentum customers have long awaited a monitoring solution with this breadth of capabilities," said Wayne Crandall, president of CYA Technologies. "We have more than 270 customers who rely on EMC Documentum, and the Reveille Management Console for Documentum is the perfect solution to help them better monitor and manage the health of their application processes and user experience."
Reveille will demonstrate the value of its Reveille Management Console for Documentum at EMC World 2009 in Orlando, Fla. The company will exhibit the solution in their partners' booths - Armedia, booth #122, and CYA Technologies, booth #141.
This release follows Reveille's recent announcement that it has grown to 275 customers. Working with companies, such as Abbott Labs, Chase, Nestlé and Fidelity, Reveille has proven experience in helping IT managers and application owners keep their service level agreements. Reveille's customers span a variety of vertical markets, including telecommunications, consumer goods, financial services, pharmaceutical and healthcare.
