Visioneer, a leader in intelligent document imaging solutions, recently announced the details of their Trade-Up Program that allows customers to receive a 25% refund on the purchase of a new Visioneer scanner. This is made possible by a new partnership with Amergence Technology to safely dispose outdated scanners. Customers who own any model scanner from any manufacturer, working or not, can send it in to Visioneer and receive a 25% refund of their purchase of a new Visioneer scanner from an eligible list that includes a wide variety of Visioneer OneTouch color flatbed scanners, mobile sheetfed scanners and business document scanners, including the new Visioneer Strobe 500 that was recently awarded the PC Magazine Editors' Choice.
All trade-in scanners that are sent to Visioneer for recycling are processed by Amergence Technology. Certified by the California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Integrated Waste Management Board. Amergence works with certified recyclers in the United States to safely dispose of all components, including metals, plastics, glass, and hazardous materials found in old products.
