Pharmaceutical Laboratory Mill: Uni-Mill M05-U
The Uni-Mill M05-U is designed for small scale milling applications, making it perfect as a pharmaceutical laboratory mill. The unit is compact and lightweight, making it suitable for bench-top use or placement inside an isolator.
The unit can handle small amounts of material at a time, whilst offering the flexibility of higher throughput if required. The lab mill generates very little heat for minimal change in material properties.
The Uni-Mill M05-U includes a variable speed drive making the unit well suited to trial and experimentation required of a pharmaceutical laboratory mill. The wide range of screens (with various hole size and hole shape) and different impeller types makes experimenting with different setups possible, while the spacer-less gap setting makes tooling changes fast and easy (<30 seconds to change screen and impeller).
The Uni-Mill features a sanitary construction, with all product contact parts manufactured from 316L stainless steel, using FDA compliant material for seals. Non-contact parts such as the frame and motor cover are manufactured from 304 stainless steel.
