Percussion Software Prepares For Growth Through Three Executive Appointments

Percussion Software, a provider of Web Content Management (WCM) software for managing, analyzing and improving online marketing results, today set the stage for accelerated growth through three senior level executive appointments. Michael Robichaud joins Percussion Software as the newly appointed CEO and Joseph Wykes, former SVP of Sales and Alliances at Percussion, advances to President. Barry Reynolds, the founder and CEO of Percussion Software, was elevated to Chairman of the Board.

Mike Robichaud, newly appointed CEO, comes to Percussion Software from Stride & Associates, a multi-brand placement company where he was most recently the CEO. Under Mike's leadership Stride grew in excess of 30% CAGR, expanding the company from a regional office to a national organization with 25 offices in 11 major US cities. As a result of these and other accomplishments, Mike received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Boston Business Journal's "40 under 40" awards. Mike is no stranger to Percussion or the Web Content Management market; he is a founding shareholder and an active member of the Percussion board.

Joe Wykes advances to President from SVP of Sales and Alliances. He brings more than a decade of experience working for Percussion, and a strong track record of sales success. He has led the European operations to record sales and performance, and more recently led worldwide sales and alliances from Percussion's San Francisco office. With the promotion to President, Wykes will relocate to Percussion's headquarters in Woburn, MA.

The former CEO, Barry Reynolds will take the role of Chairman of the Board. His continued involvement with Percussion is a key part of the company's growth plans.

"I was fortunate to lead and grow Percussion for over 14 years," commented Barry. "I have known Mike for many years, and I can't think of a more qualified person to take the helm at Percussion. Joe knows the industry and customers as well as anyone in the company. Together, they have all of the ingredients to lead Percussion in its next phase of growth. I look forward to working with Mike and Joe in my new role as Chairman of the Board."

Mike, Joe and Barry will grow the company by broadening the product, sales and marketing focus.

"Our opportunity is to more explicitly include the needs of the Marketer in everything we do - product development, ease of use, and marketing services, to name a few," said Mike Robichaud. "Our strategy will focus on helping Marketers generate the results that determine the health of their business - revenue, membership, traffic or leads. Percussion's growth will be tied to our success in attracting business-driven Marketers."

"Percussion has entered what we expect to be the most rapid growth period in the company's history," said Wykes. "Our Personalization, Web Analytics and Community Marketing solutions are indicative of our future product and solution direction at Percussion. These and planned solutions will help businesses compress the time between contacting a prospective customer, that prospect's visit to a site or blog, and the monetization of that visit."
