Panasonic Debuts High-Speed, Extreme-Value, Laser MFP Workhorse
Panasonic Communications Company of North America (PCCNA) recently raised the multifunction product (MFP) performance bar with the introduction of the KX-MB3020, which is optimized for the small business and home office environments. With a $499 MSRP this unit includes a laser monochrome printer, copier, and color scanner complete with integrated fax and networking capabilities.
The KX-MB3020, the latest addition to Panasonic's AIO (All In One) business performance series, eradicates the sticker shock frequently suffered by office managers pricing so-called "value-line" office equipment. The unit features an Automatic Duplexer, 520-sheet paper cassette, and combined Automatic Document Feeder/flatbed scanning unit as "in-the-box" standard equipment, making it a highly affordable and flexible unit for the small business market.
"The KX-MB3020 is a high-productivity, energy-efficient, incredibly cost-effective workhorse," said Joseph Odore, Panasonic product specialist for MFP/FAX. "Whatever the KV-MB3020's prime function in a given environment is -- printing, copying, scanning, faxing, or emailing and/or filing scanned documents on a server -- end users will find no cut corners or hidden costs that compromise workflow or quality."
In addition to 35ppm1 printing and copying, key features of the KV-MB3020 include: 2400x1200dpi enhanced-mode resolution, standard automatic duplexing to reduce paper consumption, 50-page reversing ADF, Quick ID copy of both sides of a card on a single sheet, Easy Repeat printing of small-size originals on a single sheet, high-resolution color scanning up to 9600x9600 dpi from flatbed or ADF, high-speed network color scanning, PC scanning, scan-to-E-mail, FTP print to and scan from capabilities and pre-printing fax previe
