Well-established in Latin America, Westcon-Comstor Americas now enables enterprises to easily source Opengear’s solutions for secure out-of-band network management
Opengear, a leading provider of solutions that deliver secure, resilient network access and automation to critical IT infrastructure, today announced its new channel partnership with Westcon-Comstor Americas, a value-added technology distributor of leading networking and data center solutions.
With Westcon-Comstor Americas in place as Opengear’s first-ever distribution partner in Latin America, organizations across the region are now able to easily find, select and implement the Opengear solutions best suited for their specific networking use cases and business needs. The deal builds on Opengear’s long-running partnership with SYNNEX, which had previously acquired Westcon-Comstor Americas in September 2017.
Latin American enterprises seeking to maximize their network resilience and automation can now purchase Opengear’s solutions directly through Westcon-Comstor Americas. Particularly versatile and popular Opengear products include the IM7200 Infrastructure Manager, built to ensure business continuity through secure and reliable access to remote data center infrastructure, and the Resilience Gateway, which meets business’ network resilience and accessibility needs at branch offices and other remote sites. Opengear solutions also feature Zero-Touch Provisioning for automated provisioning of equipment over the network, alleviating the need for manual interaction on-site. On the software side, the Lighthouse centralized management platform provides customers with secure out-of-band access and visibility into all Opengear devices from a single pane of glass, drastically simplifying administration and automation of deployments.
“Enterprises increasingly must ensure business continuity and expand their network infrastructure to keep pace with increasing demand and growth – and Opengear delivers network resilience and automation solutions that the Latin American market will find especially valuable,” Otavio Lazarini Barbosa, EVP LATAM, Westcon-Comstor Americas. “We’re proud of our new partnership with Opengear, and excited to provide its award-winning solutions to what is quickly proving to be an eager enterprise audience.”
