nQueue Launches ‘InfoRoute' Scanning And Routing Engine

Powerful engine includes new eRamp module for electronic documents

Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) - nQueue, the leading provider of cost recovery and document scanning and routing technology, today announced the release of InfoRoute, its powerful scanning and routing engine. InfoRoute is a new release of the company’s popular iA Scan powered by iA Route software. InfoRoute includes the ability to capture documents using any of four different modules (known as “OnRamps”). It also formats, OCRs and routes scanned documents to any number of destinations (known as “OffRamps”), including leading document management systems, all in less than a second per page.

InfoRoute leverages ABBYY’s state-of-the-art formatting and OCR software. “ABBYY is known worldwide for its best-in-class document capture, conversion and OCR technology,” says Rick Hellers, nQueue’s President and CEO. “Building InfoRoute on ABBYY’s platform allows us to provide the legal industry with the fastest, most powerful and most accurate tool for formatting and routing scanned documents, while still maintaining ease-of-use through our award-winning interface.”

InfoRoute enables capture and routing with just a few clicks via four “OnRamps:” WorkplaceScan, which facilitates scanning and routing from the MFD itself; RapidScan, which delivers the same functionality to any desktop scanner; CoverScan, which conveys formatting and routing information using barcode cover sheets; and eRamp, nQueue’s newest OnRamp, which is designed to process and route documents already in an electronic format.

“A majority of today’s documents are created electronically and never printed, but it can still be a complicated and time-consuming process to convert them into the desired file format and store them in the appropriate place,” adds Hellers. “We developed eRamp to deliver InfoRoute’s simplicity and speed to digital documents.”

Once captured, InfoRoute can convert documents to popular formats, such as Word, PDF, searchable PDF, PDF/A, TIFF, JPG and others while providing optical character recognition with ABBYY’s renowned OCR engine. It then instantly route’s the document to any number of “OffRamps,” including desktops, network folders, email inboxes and leading document management systems, in or out of the Cloud. Supported DMS systems include those developed by iManage, OpenText, Worldox, Prolaw and NetDocuments, as well as Microsoft Sharepoint.
In addition, to the new electronic document module eRamp, InfoRoute provides users with the following new functionality:

  • Improvements in our OpenText, ProLaw, and iManage OffRamps, including support for iManage Cloud
  • New OffRamp for Canon’s Therefore™ information Management & Workflow system
  • Automatic retry upon delivery failure
  • Automatic document splitting for scans delivered via email when necessary to comply with email protocols
  • New “Command Service” for intelligent load balancing and resiliency
  • Redesigned web-based configuration and management interface

“The ability to cost-effectively store and ultimately find and use information is the lifeblood of any law firm,” says John Gilbert, Senior Vice President at nQueue. “InfoRoute allows our users to work more efficiently by automating workflow and allowing a uniform approach to scanning at a MFD, the desktop and/or in the mailroom. And because it automatically routes the scanned documents, they are easy to retrieve for future use.”

nQueue will be demonstrating InfoRoute at ILTACON 2016 in Washington, D.C., including a series of private “Snack-n-Learns” to discuss scanning strategies and tactics. To schedule a Snack-n-Learn, please email Patty Robertson at probertson(at)nQueue(dot)com or visit nQueue at booth 1028 at ILTACON.
