LibertyNET can convert nearly any existing computer output into manageable information. Whether you have reports, data files, ASCII, EBCDIC, etc., LibertyNET can use standard, pre-defined or custom rules. You can extract data from "dumb" reports and turn them into intelligent documents, ready for display, editing or printing in a variety of ways. You can throw out needless information while maintaining document integrity. Or index it effortlessly with powerful data recognition rules that determine what goes where. Full and partial text indexing are also provided.

Why use COLD?
In many facilities, reports that are requested from the company's mainframe computer are printed to a high-speed, text line printer. The individual reports are often only a few lines in length and the next report is started on a new page. Using this example, it is evident that a lot of paper is wasted in this manner. Reports created using these line printers use large amounts of paper requiring massive storage spaces. COLD uses little storage space and many documents can fit onto one CD-ROM for archiving. A background image, called an Overlay, can be used as a template for the imported COLD data allowing you to replicate the original page.
