League Association Of Risk Management Improves Workflow, Communications With CHSI Connections®

The municipal insurance pool will use Connections to improve how information is shared and enhance the way the organization’s functional business units communicate.

Henderson, NV (PRWEB) - CHSI Technologies, Inc., a provider of enterprise-class insurance software, is pleased to announce that Lincoln, Nebraska-based League Association of Risk Management (LARM) is implementing CHSI’s Connections® cloud-based configurable core systems software.

LARM, which provides a host of insurance coverage and risk management services to more than 160 governmental entities, including cities, villages and other governmental agencies in Nebraska, will use Connections’ CRM module to improve how information is shared and enhance the way the organization’s functional business units communicate.

The implementation brings LARM’s operations into a cloud environment, which will be especially helpful as the organization evaluates the platform for more potential integration points.

“We have already created efficiencies in both internal and external customer service by giving staff the ability to document who provided what service to which members, and we can now track the work and respond to member requests faster,” says Dave Bos, LARM’s loss control manager.

The system also positively affects workflow by preventing duplication of tasks and keeping all users abreast of the latest changes made to a member’s record. This is particularly important to the three members of LARM’s loss control area, who spend the bulk of their time at members’ sites providing safety and risk management services. “Now, once we enter the work performed at the member’s site, it’s available in real-time to other functional business areas,” adds Bos.

Jim Leftwich, CHSI Technologies’ Founder and CEO, notes that the additional of Connections® is an essential first step forward for a self-insured pool such as LARM. “We understand their short- and long-term business and technology requirements, and we are confident that LARM will benefit from embracing a flexible, modular cloud-based approach that will enable them to improve their operations.”

LARM’s long-term goal is to integrate all member records into the new CRM system, and from there integrate various data from the organization’s third-party administrators and other stakeholders. “Previously, we did not have a platform where we could input data and share it internally,” notes Bos. “Connections® is a game-changer for being able to share information within our organization.”
