Kofax's Parent Company DICOM Announces Agreement With Australian And New Zealand Banking Group To Deploy Kofax Intelligent Capture & Exchange

DICOM Group plc ("DICOM Group"), a global leader of Information Capture & Exchange solutions, recently announced that it has signed an Enterprise License Agreement with the Australian and New Zealand Banking Group Limited ("ANZ") to deploy Kofax Intelligent Capture & Exchange, the centrepiece of DICOM's strategy to help organisations streamline business processes by capturing documents in the front office, where they originate, and moving such information in real-time to transactional business processes.

This single platform runs in an internally hosted, shared services paradigm. It supports ANZ's wide range of business processes, business units, back-end systems and geographies. It also facilitates large-scale deployments with facilities for high availability, disaster recovery and support.

The solution will include key elements of Kofax Intelligent Capture & Exchange, including Ascent Capture, the world's leading automated information capture platform. As a result, ANZ expects to significantly improve loan processing turnaround time, which is crucial in the competitive financial services industry. Also, with information available online, they are able to enhance customer service.

"DICOM has been a long-time partner to many of the world's leading banks, as its solutions are proven to help organisations in sensitive, transaction-intensive environments to efficiently process documents and capture critical data needed to serve customers and streamline business processes," said Michael Cawsey, Managing Director of DICOM Australia. "We are delighted to be working with ANZ, a leading financial institution, to help them improve operational efficiencies and better serve their customers."
