Q. What would you have if you gathered all of today's innovative products, breakthrough technologies, and trendsetting companies if you placed them in a single event?

A. ITEX '08!

ITEX '08 will bring the industry together. It is THE event where hundreds of copier/printer and document solution leaders and thinkers discover the latest products and solutions, and more importantly, the latest roadmaps to success. With more than 100,000 sq. ft. of show space for the core areas of printing, copying, and MFPs, software and more (including a wide format/mailing systems pavilion), and six in depth education tracks led by today's best experts, ITEX is the all-in-one show-stopper to attend. ITEX '08 is scheduled in Las Vegas, February 21-22, 2008.

Q: You changed the "I" in ITEX to stand for Information instead of Imaging; why the change?

A. We changed the name because we felt it important for our brand to represent where the market itself is headed. It isn't about just copying and printing anymore, and that is what the original Imaging moniker meant to our attendees. Today it is about handling company Information. The hard copy output side will always be important for us, but as we profess in all of our education and is so evident by the kinds of vendors who now display their products at ITEX, looking for exclusive relationships with our attendees, the future of the business lies in solutions, and getting better control of your customers. Controlling information gives you the ability to do that; controlling the copier or printer does not.

Q: Each year ITEX brings innovation to its show floor. What's in store for 2008?

A: Once again the key word is "information." Businesses today are in need of multi-solutions to handle ongoing and in depth information. ITEX addresses this need by wrapping all of it up (tools) under one roof. This is where real opportunities lie. Ever expanding, we have established a wide format printing pavilion as well as a mailing systems pavilion. We recognize that these are two growth areas for office equipment and technology providers.

Q: What sets ITEX apart from other shows for the dealer, reseller and VAR communities?

A: Convergence. We've basically created a one-stop, one-shop grand intersection where all key areas in the industry are represented. As "no man is an island" many providers are interested in all the "components" that interact for profitability in the document and business technology channel. We have all the tools at ITEX to help providers focus on fine tuning a better business model. With over 100 hours of education to choose from and a killer show floor of product, we expose providers to the "complete package." It's there for the taking.
