Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging -- Application Simplified

Photoluminescence is used for a variety of life science applications, including biomarkers, sensing, and fluorescent lifetime imaging. Some commercial camera systems with domain FLIM or scanning systems are available for these applications, but they usually are bulky and expensive. Due to new technical developments in CMOS image sensors, pixels can be directly modulated up to 40 MHz, the ideal prerequisite for frequency domain FLIM camera systems. The pco.flim camera system is the first luminescence lifetime imaging camera designed to use a two tap CMOS image sensor. Download the full white paper to find out more about the pco.flim camera, and how it simplifies the process of fluorescence lifetime imaging.
