Experic Announces Plans To Build New Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility In New Jersey

Opt experic

Experic, a high-quality pharmaceutical supply services provider, marked its official launch by announcing it has leased a 45,500 square foot, state-of-the-art Class A research, manufacturing and packaging facility located at 2 Clarke Drive in Cranbury, New Jersey, the heart of the state’s pharmaceutical belt. The plan includes the construction of a best-in-class contract pharmaceutical supply services headquarters within the space. Experic’s targeted mission is to focus on the under-met needs of the small and midsize customer base - the industry’s fastest growing and most dynamic segment.

From first-in-human early stage clinical testing to commercially marketed products, the new cGMP facility will empower Experic to support many critical stages of a product's lifecycle. It will feature capabilities around unique powder and solid oral manufacturing in addition to traditional dosage forms, complimented by innovative packaging, labeling, and global supply chain management services. The cGMP operation will highlight the latest processing technologies and IT infrastructure in the industry to date. Upon opening, the facility will provide ample space to accommodate processing, storage, and logistics of controlled room temperature (CRT), refrigerated (2-8 degrees C), and frozen (-20C and -80C) materials, as well as Schedule II-V DEA controlled substances.

Experic has strategically positioned itself as a niche provider dedicated to delivering cutting-edge innovation and superior customer service to small and midsize pharmaceutical companies. As outsourcing activity in this sector continues to surge, so does the demand for high-quality providers that are focused on fulfilling the specific needs of smaller innovator companies.

“Our vision has always been to provide the highest level of technology to those companies responsible for the lion’s share of development and discovery activities in industry today,” stated Eric Bergmann, Experic President and Co-Founder. “Coupled with the small-company feel of personalized customer service and ability to create technical solutions to unique challenges, Experic is set up to bring the best of both worlds to our customers.”

Experic collaborated closely with the real estate team at Cushman & Wakefield to identify the fit-for-use space. The recently unveiled facility plans are a collaborative effort by the Experic team, Precis Engineering, an Ambler, Pennsylvania-based firm focusing on Life Science facility and engineering services, and the award-winning Jacobswyper Architects.

“We’ve surrounded our vision and strategy with the best talent in their respective fields,” noted Jeff Shane, Experic Co-Founder and Vice Chairman. “It has been an effort underscored by collaborative excellence since day one.”

A formal opening date of the facility will be announced later this year.
