eiStream Enterprise 3

Three products make up the eiStream Enterprise 3 suite:
Keyfile – A comprehensive software solution for document management that offers document tracking, management, organization, version control, and more. Keyfile is comprised of a 3-tier architecture:
- The Keyfile client, known as the Workspace, provides a user friendly look and feel of a Windows desktop or of a Web browser depending on the user's preference.
- The Keyfile Internet Information Server Extension (KFIIS) for the Windows Internet Information Server allows access to Keyfile Documents over the Internet via HTTP.
- The Keyfile Document Server (KDS), an object database, quickly serves and stores critical documents and reliably implements your business process.

- Manages many file formats - fax, e-mail, word processor, spreadsheet, scanned images, manufacturing diagrams, text and many more - within the same document.
- Accurately and easily tracks multiple revisions of documents and folders, so that the history of every revision can be reviewed at any time.
- Ensures the privacy of documents by granting up to seven access levels, including read, add annotations, export, and write. Security can be applied all types of Keyfile objects including File Cabinets, baskets, folders, documents, pages, and annotations.
- Applies annotations directly to any TIFF image. Annotation types include hand written, highlighter, typed (sticky note) and TypeMATIC.

- Provides server side scripting that allows custom processing, with easy access to workflow data, databases, and third party OLE automation objects.
- Utilizes an Intelligent Workflow Server to evaluate business rules and data-driven logic, and determine which action(s) to take.
Kofile Visual Information System (KoVIS) is the next generation of the KODAK IMAGELINK Business Solutions/PCPlus product. Developed from worldwide market research and feedback from hundreds of Kofile customers, this 32-bit NT client/server product provides an easy-to-use system for solving your document management needs.
KoVIS has an easy-to-use interface that provides quick access to documents regardless of their media of storage. The KoVIS user has the capability to organize retrieved documents and distribute them as print, fax, e-mail, routed internal folder or delivered external folder.
KoVIS has a batch scanning sub-system for high-volume scanning and an on-line scanning capability for low-volume or distributed scanning. The data entry interface is designed for a production workload and has the ability to receive OCR, ICR, or barcode indexing information.
