Banner Churchill Community Hospital now uses all electronic patient records: Banner Churchill Community Hospital is now one of less than 100 hospitals in the nation providing the top level of electronic medical record (EMR) use. Just recently, Banner Churchill implemented its final EMR process; Positive Patient Identification. The hospital, along with 17 other facilities within the Banner Health system achieved Stage 7 status, the final stage in the adoption of EMR. To achieve this, the hospital also had to have the capability to share patient information electronically with other health care providers.
