DocuWare Holds Annual Partner Event In Conjunction With ITEX

DocuWare Corporation, a leader in the Integrated Document Management industry, held their annual Partner meeting, DocuWorld, on March 17 2009 at the Las Vegas Hilton – during the same week as ITEX 2009. The ITEX 2009 show took place March 18 – 19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The events were planned simultaneously to promote vendor relationships.

The Las Vegas Hilton was chosen for DocuWorld, the annual Authorized DocuWare Partner (ADP) meeting. More than 150 DocuWare resellers from North, Central and South America were in attendance, representing over 70 ADP companies. Agenda items included speakers Tom Callinan, founding principal of Strategy Development, with a presentation on Sales & Pipeline Management, Darrell Amy, President of Dealer Marketing Systems, speaking about value-based sales strategies. Ramiro Rodrigues, Owner of Klima Campinas Tecnologia, an ADP, presented the anatomy of a recent sale and values that helped the customer realize electronic documents could improve business processes and enhance operations.

DocuWare Partners had access to alliance vendors ABBYY, Business Technology Association (BTA), Böwe Bell & Howell, Canon, Dealer Marketing Systems, Eastman Kodak, Fujitsu, InfoTrends, J & H Office Equipment, JBM Systems, Inc. and Panasonic.

"The event exceeded our expectations with record attendance, which enabled our Partners to make the most of networking time with their peers and explore additional DocuWare possibilities with the alliance sponsors as well."

Directly following the event, Partners were able to recertify their DocuWare training certification by participating in a two day advanced training session.

Prior to the DocuWorld event, the DocuWare Diamond Club Advisory Board (which is comprised of the top 10% of DocuWare's resellers from each of the Americas) also took place at the Hilton. A celebratory dinner followed at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House.

ITEX 2009

Thomas Schneck, President of DocuWare AG (the parent company of DocuWare Corporation), was featured in the Sales & Marketing Solutions Power Hour Session, Wednesday, March 18 during ITEX 2009, presenting the topic: "Now That You've Embraced Solutions, What's Next in Sales & Marketing?"

DocuWare's booth was featured as a "Technology Hotspot," on the "Technology Passport Tour."
