Microsoft Teams is a powerful tool for collaborating on documents, it allows multiple users to edit documents at the same time. FileHold will track all changes via version control showing users the most recent version and allowing a roll back to a previous version if necessary. Users are never confused about which document is the most recent version because FileHold acts as the “Single point of document truth”.

Checked out documents are easily checked-in directly from Teams. It works like the quick check-in option in the FileHold Office Client. Document name and metadata values are copied from the previous version. The “get latest version option” allows users to overwrite linked documents in Teams using the newest version from FileHold. If there is an existing modified version in Teams an appropriate warning is displayed. A FileHold user can remove selected files from Teams where the version in Teams is older than the version in the FileHold library or when the version in Teams is the same as the version in the library.
