Day Software To Lead Session On JCR Standards And Web 2.0 Applications At TheServerSide Java Symposium
Day Software, a leading provider of global content management software and content infrastructure software, will present an educational session at TheServerSide Java Symposium in Prague at The Clarion Congress Hotel, highlighting the company's leadership with JSR 170, the Java Content Repository (JCR) standard application programming interface (API) for content access. Developers attending the presentation will learn how to create standardized content repository applications, the benefits JCR provides over other tools and efficient ways to build flexible content-based Web applications.
Day Software CTO David Nuescheler will lead the session, "Kickstarting JCR: TheServerSide.com as a Content Application," which will illustrate how developers can turn an existing TSS Web site into a content repository-based application. Nuescheler will begin the presentation with a brief overview of JCR, simplifying the complex back-end requirements expected when developing a content repository application. The live demonstration will then show how one can leverage the rapid prototyping aspects and flexibility of Web 2.0 within the secure, reliable environment provided by a standardized content repository to simply create a content application.
By combining the strengths built in to both Web 2.0 and content repository applications, developers can accelerate their development cycles and efficiently manage content on the Web. Now, one can develop a highly interactive Web application leveraging content repository features like Versioning, Access Control and Fulltext Search Indexing.
