Content Management: TERMINALFOUR Wins Content Management Client In The Kingdom Of Bahrain
TERMINALFOUR, a leading European enterprise content management company, recently, announced that it has successfully delivered a new website for the Ministry of Information in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The deal, delivered in partnership with local internet services company DINAS, is TERMINALFOUR's first content management client in the Middle-East. TERMINALFOUR secured the contract to provide and implement a content management platform to manage the ministry's portfolio of websites, intranets and extranets.
The new ministry website, which is managed using TERMINALFOUR Site Manager, is a key communications tool of the Ministry of Information. It is used to publish information to its wide range of national and international target audiences. These include the directorate of press and publications, the government printing press, media services department, tourism and foreign media affairs. The Ministry decided to enlist a content management company to overhaul its old website as it was not meeting its publishing and interactive objectives.
TERMINALFOUR Site Manager is known for its ease-of-use, its extensive feature set, workflow and its flexible integration with third party applications. These features enable the Ministry of Information to optimise content from many databases throughout its various sites. In addition, many of its editorial processes have now been automated, saving time and ensuring that information is up to date.
Eric Maher, project manager, DINAS said "Using TERMINALFOUR's Site Manager ensures that the exacting demands regarding design, usability and multiple languages are reflected on the new Ministry of Information site. With its proven experience implementing e-Government projects, TERMINALFOUR was the perfect partner for DINAS to deliver and manage a website that met the requirements of government employees, Bahrain residents and casual surfers."
Piero Tintori, managing director of TERMINALFOUR said, "The selection of TERMINALFOUR to build one of the most in demand websites in the Middle-East is strong recognition of our growing position as one of Europe's leading providers of content management to international markets, in particular where organisations need to publish in multiple languages. We won the business based on our proven ability to consistently meet every operational, service and security need of our customers".
