Content Management: Orbograph Announces Senior Management Changes
Orbograph, a subsidiary of Orbotech Ltd. and one of the leading developer of automated recognition software and supplier of business process outsourcing services to check processing business partners and resellers, recently announced several changes within its senior management team, effective July 1, 2007. These changes reflect the Company's growth plan and its need for strong management representation in North America.
Barry Cohen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Orbotech, Inc. will, in addition to his current capacity, replace Ori Sarid as Co-General Manager of Orbograph. Together with Avikam Baltsan, Orbograph's Co-General Manager and Chief Technology Officer, Cohen will define business direction and lead the Orbograph team worldwide. At the same time, he will also assume US general managerial responsibilities in place of Uriel Ben-David, who has completed a successful three year assignment in the US.
Commenting on his new position with Orbograph, Cohen, an Orbotech veteran since 1994, stated, "I am enthusiastic about this opportunity and look forward to the challenges we will face in executing our business strategies. Our commitment to our customers has never been stronger, nor our opportunities greater, as we develop and offer an even wider range of automated recognition products and services to banks and other financial institutions."
Reporting to Cohen and filling the newly-created position of VP Marketing will be Joe J. Gregory, who, with nearly 20 years of industry experience, has been with Orbograph since 1998 and previously served as VP Strategic Sales. Andy Leonhardt, Channel Sales Executive for over seven years, has been promoted to VP Sales. Leonhardt has been instrumental in building the business partner channel and comes with 15 years experience. Peter Rooney will maintain his current position of Director of Client Services, a role he was appointed in January of 2006.
The new Orbograph senior management team will maintain the Company's uncompromising commitment to product quality and customer support, and will continue its tradition of exceeding partners' and customers' expectations.
