Content Management: FatWire Appoints Mark Bridger President Of International Operations

FatWire Software, a leading web content management provider, recently announced the appointment of Mark Bridger as president of FatWire International, to advance FatWire's business opportunities internationally, and manage international sales operations in EMEA and the Asia Pacific regions.

In his new role, Bridger is responsible for FatWire's international performance and revenue growth, the management of merger and acquisitions abroad, international research and development centers, and the management of the company's off-shore partner network. He will report to FatWire president and CEO Yogesh Gupta.

"Mark brings strong sales and leadership capabilities to FatWire's international operations," said Yogesh Gupta, president of FatWire Software. "As a key member of our executive management staff, Mark will help the organization to capitalize on the momentum we see for our solutions in the global marketplace."

Bridger's career spans more than 20 years in the software industry, including executive sales positions for both public and venture-backed companies. He joins FatWire from enterprise management software leader, CA, where he was vice president and regional manager of the UK and Ireland. In that role, he developed and executed integrated direct and indirect sales plans for CA's extensive portfolio. Bridger delivered record sales results through a program which focused on building the company's identify in the UK, and streamlining their sales process and indirect sales channel.

Prior to CA, Bridger served in sales management positions for Managed Objects Limited and Ascential Software Limited, a division of Informix Corporation. In these positions he drove sales and technical support services in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Israel, Nordic, Eastern Mediterranean and Benelux regions.
