Georgia’s third most populous county continues to develop its paperless processes using OnBase’s ECM solution and ImageSoft’s technical guidance
(PRWEB) - Cobb County, Georgia has partnered with ImageSoft to support the continued expansion of its enterprise content management (ECM) system, OnBase by Hyland, and transition each department to a paperless process. The county’s plan is to transition its records from paper to digital formats and utilize workflow automation technology to improve the efficiency of its services.
In 2018, Cobb County officials initiated the process to find a partner that was knowledgeable and experienced with OnBase ECM to not only enhance its current solutions, but also to develop its future projects. Through the bid process, Cobb County selected ImageSoft for its 22 years ECM experience, platinum Hyland partnership, and vast familiarity with local and state government solutions.
“We service over 740,000 constituents and employ over 5,000 people, so we need to ensure that each division is operating with optimal efficiency on every project,” said Juanita Garrett, Technology Services Manager for Cobb County. “This is why we initially decided to power our progress by OnBase and want to continue with their solution. But as we continue to develop and move forward with new projects, we need to ensure our solution is equipped to support our progress, and we’re confident that ImageSoft has the expertise and genuine concern for our goals to guide us along.”
The new partnership began with documenting all 19 of the county’s OnBase solutions, which were spread across multiple departments. From there, ImageSoft completed the Knowledge Transfer sessions, built the supporting documentation for each solution, and implemented enhancements to the contract management solution to ensure that Cobb County was realizing the benefits envisioned of their investment in OnBase.
