Center for Digital Government honors Stellent customer for innovative Web site providing the public with timely access to documents and records

Stellent, Inc. (Nasdaq: STEL), a global provider of content management solutions, announced today the Center for Digital Government honored the City of Aurora, Colo., the state's third largest city with a population of more than 300,000 residents, with a "2006 Digital Government Achievement Award" for using Stellent Universal Content Management to help provide the public with timely access to documents and records.

Specifically, the City of Aurora was recognized for its innovative "Aurora Connect" Web application (www.auroragov.org/auroraconnect). This Web site consolidates and delivers information from six internal systems -- including Stellent Universal Content Management, which serves as its content foundation -- to give constituents 24x7 access to a variety of information.

For example, once a user enters a valid city address, Aurora Connect -- via an integration between the Stellent system and a geographic information system -- publishes or makes available for download public records; interactive satellite maps; business licenses; zoning codes; and political, neighborhood, school district, public safety and building permit information specific to that location. Aurora Connect updates itself each night with the latest information entered into the Stellent system during the day, providing the public with virtually real-time access to the most recent information the city has available.

"We are pleased Aurora Connect has been distinguished by the Center for Digital Government as one of this year's top Web-based government applications," said Larry Hibbs, applications development supervisor for the City of Aurora. "The Stellent system plays a significant role in this application, which generates numerous benefits for the city, its residents and local contractors -- including easy access to information, increased productivity, and reduced costs associated with no longer having to print and distribute content. We look forward to enhancing Aurora Connect in the future as it becomes increasingly evident by the number of site visitors it's a desired and valuable resource."

"We commend the City of Aurora for leveraging Stellent Universal Content Management to significantly improve how it delivers information to the public via the fast and efficient vehicle Aurora Connect," said Robert Olson, president and chief executive officer for Stellent. "The City of Aurora continues to epitomize how a government organization can deploy a unified enterprise content management architecture to improve internal business processes and better serve constituents."

The City of Aurora also utilizes Stellent Universal Content Management to support numerous image, records, document and Web content management initiatives across the city's 17 departments. For instance, Stellent Universal Content Management is used to share, manage, deliver and publish Web and intranet content, permits, licenses, forms, tax information, building plans and applications, internal and external newsletters, news releases, human resource forms, and policies and procedures.
