Canon U.S.A. And OMD Corporation Announce The Integration Of Canon's Imageware Remote With OMD'S Business Software Solutions
New imageWARE Remote OMD Integration Module Eliminates the Need to Manually Enter Meter Data into OMD's Applications
Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leading provider of digital imaging technology, and OMD Corporation, a leading provider of management software for the office equipment industry, today released the imageWARE Remote OMD Integration Module, automating the process of capturing and delivery of meter data from Canon imageRUNNER and imagePRESS models to OMD applications.
Eliminating the need to manually enter meter data, the new imageWARE Remote OMD Integration Module downloads meter reads from Canon's imageWARE Remote server on the Canon device, automatically converting and uploading data directly into the OMD system. imageWARE Remote allows for remote meter reading and service monitoring for device error and service notifications, as well as consumables usage on Canon imageRUNNER and imagePRESS models.
"Automating the meter processing portion of the meter billing cycle with OMD's popular offering will further increase the effectiveness of imageWARE Remote's automated meter collection feature by reducing administrative burden and cost," said Dennis Amorosano, senior director, Solutions Business Development Division, Canon U.S.A. "This new module offers an easy means for dealers to construct end-to-end automation for all imageRUNNER meter collection activities, using imageWARE Remote."
