eFIRST Archive provides a secure, long-term archive for all types of information. eFIRST Archive is BancTec's third generation archive product, based on many years of experience as a leading provider of high-volume, long-term archive solutions. It offers an enterprise platform for building archive management solutions that effectively manage and track any file or document type, including images, documents, data records, video and mixed media content.

eFIRST Archive features:

• Allows authorized business users to manage the types of objects stored, the rules for who can access stored data, and the policies for how long data is stored and on what type of media.
• Allows the choice of several types of storage technology to be deployed. Archived information can be stored on hard disks, optical disks or magnetic tapes, depending on the cost and retrieval requirements.
