What's New With Kofax Express 3.1

A major update to Kofax Express is now available and shipping.  Kofax Express 3.1 now supports the same export connectors and API as Kofax Capture. By leveraging the same export capabilities, Kofax Express now supports the over 100 exports already developed for Kofax Capture. More importantly, custom exports developed with the Kofax Capture Export API are now compatible with Kofax Express. This means that any customer, developer or partner who modified or developed a custom export for Kofax Capture can use this same connector with Kofax Express. 

What is new in Kofax Express 3.1:

• Support for over 100 exports to Enterprise Content Management, Business Process Management, Databases, Archives, Workflow, Process Engines, and Systems of Record.
• Custom Export API – develop and deploy custom exports that are supported with both Kofax Capture and Kofax Express.  Reuse your existing Kofax Capture custom exports with Kofax Express.
• Validation Scripting – leveraging VB.NET to create custom validation scripts for look-ups, business rules, error correction, and assisted validation.
• Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) – Kofax Express 3.1 now supports the extraction of hand print from documents and forms.
• Updated Zonal Processing – now capture text (OCR), handprint (ICR) and bar codes using the zone processing capabilities of Kofax Express.
