Case Study: Kansas State University

The potential for delayed student service, misplaced documents and rising office supply costs motivated KSU administrators to find an electronic document management system that would be effective in multiple areas. After evaluating several products, they chose ImageNow to eliminate the inefficiencies of paper processes in the registrar office, admissions, human resources and financial aid on KSU's Manhattan campus. The implementation was completed quickly, giving KSU an immediate return on investment.

Since the initial deployment, KSU has extended ImageNow to the safety, compliance and facilities departments in Manhattan and admissions and registrar offices at the Salina campus. ImageNow soon will be used in the graduate school with plans for expanding into the Deans' offices. The alumni association has also purchased ImageNow.

Patented technology facilitated rapid integration between ImageNow and all of KSU's host applications, including PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management® (HCM) and multiple legacy applications. ImageNow supports KSU's current student information system and will work seamlessly with the Oracle Student System® (OSS) that soon will be deployed.
