Executing Data Management Solutions For eSource-Based Workflows In Phase 1 Trials

A top 20 pharmaceutical company with experience in rare diseases, oncology, and immunology indications was using an eSource tool for its double-blind, placebo-controlled dose escalation Phase 1 study. For 15 of the company’s Phase 1 trials, they’ve partnered with eClinical Solutions for the adoption of elluminate® Clinical Data Cloud and biometrics services outsourcing.

For this study, the clinical contract research organization, working with its own network of Phase 1 units was using an eSource tool to collect data directly from the sites. However, with over 50 patients across several cohorts with more than five external data sources, the study would need to meet stricter timelines if the study were to prove successful.
