Data Capture Toolkit Builds AP Automation Into Applications

Data Capture Toolkit Automation

New FormSuite for Invoices SDK allows developers to automate invoice data entry to AP systems.

Accusoft announced this month the release of FormSuite for Invoices, a new software development kit (SDK). The SDK enables developers to accurately capture accounts payable (AP) data from scanned invoices through custom built applications for posting to accounting systems.

This new toolkit draws upon the power of Accusoft’s superior optical character recognition (OCR) and other advanced forms processing technology to intelligently and accurately detect and capture vendor names, dates, amounts, and even line item details from scanned invoice image files.

Accusoft’s products are delivered as applications and toolkits for multiple 32-bit/64-bit platforms and development environments. Custom applications built with FormSuite for Invoices may eradicate the slow, costly process of manual data entry from paper-based payables, while capturing data from invoices received in Microsoft Word and PDF format. The SDK’s intelligent recognition algorithms “learn” so that applications built with FormSuite for Invoices capture data more accurately over time.

As a leader in forms processing, data capture, and image processing SDKs, Accusoft provides developers with reliable functions which can be integrated into applications and dovetailed with other Accusoft SDKs. For instance, developers can now build a complete digital mailroom solution based on functionality provided by FormSuite for Invoices, FormSuite for Structured Forms and the ImageGear imaging functions SDK.

Accusoft, a privately held and wholly employee-owned corporation, provides a full spectrum of document, content, and imaging solutions as fully supported, enterprise-grade, best-in-class client-server applications, mobile apps, cloud services, and SDKs. The company’s HTML5 viewing technology is available to the enterprise as Prizm Content Connect, in cloud-based SaaS versions, and in a version optimized for SharePoint integration.
