File Virtualization: Attune Systems Customer Interwoven Present On File Virtualization At Storage Networking World Fall 2007
Attune Systems, Inc., a provider of enterprise-class file virtualization solutions, recently announced that one of its customers, Interwoven, Inc., a global leader in content management solutions, was a featured end-user at Storage Networking World, Dallas, Texas, October 14-17, 2007. The session entitled "Deploying Low-Risk, Heterogeneous File Virtualization across High-Tech Enterprises" was part of the Virtualization Track and was presented by Raymond Lockley, manager, Core Systems, and Duke Phu, systems administrator, from Interwoven.
During this session, participants learned how high-tech environments such as Interwoven are able to optimize their heterogeneous, existing storage environments through file virtualization. The presenters from Interwoven also explained how file virtualization can help reduce operating costs and simplify management of existing storage resources.
Show participants also viewed demonstrations of the recently launched low-cost file virtualization solutions, the Maestro Manager FM6100, at the Attune booth #C33, as well as the Microsoft Partner Pavilion. Offered at a lower entry price, the FM6100 increases the return on investment without compromising performance and scalability.
The file virtualization solution from Attune Systems is based on off-the-shelf hardware and seven core technologies that deliver its leading-edge file virtualization capabilities: Maestro Policy IQ, Dual Path Access, Adaptable Mirroring, Volume Sets, Dynamic Volume Expansion, Small File Acceleration™, and Remote Scripting Engine.
