Optical Image Technology announced the release of a new software module that adds value for new and existing users of the company's DocFinity suite of integrated electronic workflow and document management software. The new product, Print To DocFinity, is the sixth module added to the software suite this year. DocFinity software helps businesses in insurance, healthcare, and higher education as well as financial services, government, and other document-intensive industries. It enables organizations to streamline manual tasks, increase organizational efficiency, and offer better services.

The Print To DocFinity module provides DocFinity users with an alternative means of indexing and storing unalterable electronic images that are captured and created from a digital print data stream. The product is one of several DocFinity modules that enable customers to validate the integrity of their data and index it automatically. This frees staff from labor-intensive, routine tasks and enables them to pursue business activities that are of greater service to the business.

Jim Thumma, Optical Image Technology's Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Professional Services, comments, "This has been a year of real innovation at Optical Image Technology. The release of Print To DocFinity follows the recent addition of DocFinity QuickScan, DocFinity Line Data to Excel, DocFinity Connect, DocFinity QuickQueue, and an HL7 module to our product line. Together, these products strengthen the scanning, data manipulation, business processing, and integration capabilities that are already inherent within the suite. Customers are already benefiting from these products, and we are confident that Print To DocFinity will be an additional asset for both our current and future users."

Ron Prichard, President of Optical Image Technology, adds, "Print To DocFinity is an easy and effective way to put any file from any Windows application into the DocFinity repository. The emphasis on ‘easy' and ‘effective' reflects our focus on our customer base and our commitment to addressing their needs and challenges. We solicit customer input, we listen, and then we strive to deliver product that drives value for the customer".
