Content Management: SpringCM Appoints Christopher Ryan As Vice President Of Marketing
SpringCM, one of the leader in on-demand enterprise content management (ECM) solutions, recently announced that its board has appointed Christopher Ryan as the SpringCM vice president of marketing. Bringing more than 20 years experience in marketing and a well-established background in ECM, Ryan will play an integral role in the development and execution of SpringCM's marketing strategy.
Ryan joins SpringCM after serving as chief marketing officer at Inmon Data Systems (IDS), where he was responsible for all aspects of branding, alliances, product marketing, and sales development. Prior to IDS, Ryan was vice president of marketing for both Stellent, Inc., one of the world's leading suppliers of enterprise content management software and services and Optika, an ECM company specializing in document management, imaging and workflow before its acquisition by Stellant in 2004. Ryan previously held senior marketing positions at PeopleSoft and Sybase.
For the past three years, Ryan has served on the Board of Directors of AIIM, the Enterprise Content Management association, and is a frequent speaker at AIIM and ARMA conferences. He is the author of three leading books on marketing and information technology.
