Executive Opinion: Information Management — What's Your Strategy?

Creating an information management strategy has never been more easy — or more difficult. In fact, it's a pretty complicated world out there for those seeking to create such a strategy. The good news, and the bad, is that there are a lot of options out there.

Of course, the elephant in the room in many information management discussions is SharePoint. Since its launch, SharePoint has demonstrated phenomenal growth. Recent AIIM surveys have indicated adoption rates of more than 65% across multiple geographical regions and verticals. It seems like many organizations using Microsoft products will implement SharePoint somewhere over the next few years, and the elephant will get even bigger with the release of SharePoint 2010 later this year.
