Industry Roundtable: SaaS Or Cloud — What's Your ECM Flavor?

As if SaaS ECM wasn't a confusing enough concept to end users, now we are throwing around the word cloud — a term normally thought of in conjunction with storage technologies. In today's marketplace, how do you define cloud with respect to ECM solutions? Just as with traditional, on-premise content solutions, the importance seems to lie not in the definition, but in the opportunity for organizations to leverage business content in the most flexible and meaningful way. The continued evolution of hosted solutions simply gives us the opportunity to reevaluate our options; leveraging the power of the Web to reinvent the content management world in which we live.
