OPEX And PSIGEN Announce Partnership

OPEX Corporation and PSIGEN Software announced recently they have entered into a new technology partnership agreement to offer an integrated solution comprised of PSIGEN’s PSI:Capture and PSI:Fusion with OPEX’s prep-reducing scanners.

While the agreement is being announced today, the companies have already deployed an integrated solution at a large state health and human services agency.  Documents received in the mail are opened and scanned in a single step, electronically classified and routed into queues for processing. This solution has streamlined the agency’s formerly labor-intensive workflow.

The unique design of the OPEX AS7200 and DS2200 scanners offer the industry’s lowest labor costs for document capture for incoming mail and archive/backfile capture.  PSI:Capture is an innovative document capture platform engineered to combine automation, efficiency, stability, and Enterprise-class scalability.  The combined solution makes the entire process more efficient, resulting in lower total cost of ownership and on-going labor savings throughout the life of the system.

“It’s great to be working with PSIGEN,” says Mark Smith, Director of Strategic Alliances at OPEX Corporation.  “We’re already seeing a lot of activity and new opportunities in several vertical markets, both domestic and international.  Our value propositions are very similar and we believe the combined solution offers customers an innovative and efficient platform.  OPEX will be attending PSIGEN’s inaugural Partner Conference in October and we’re looking forward to a great business relationship.”

“OPEX and PSIGEN are a natural fit from both a company and technology perspective,” said Stephen Boals, Vice President of Sales at PSIGEN. “Our products focus on reducing the time required to process and digitize paper through automation.  Combining OPEX hardware with our Capture software reduces labor, and allows for maximum efficiency in the scanning and capture process.  We look forward to driving business through our resellers in the U.S. and our global distribution network.”
