The FLIR X8400sc is a fast, highly sensitive MWIR camera designed for scientists, researchers, and engineers. This simple to use camera offers the functionality to stop motion on high-speed events both in the lab and at the test range. The FLIR X8400sc is equipped with a cooled InSb detector that produces crisp thermal images of 1280 × 1024 pixels to show you the smallest of details, and it detects temperature differences smaller than 25 mK.
The FLIR X8400sc delivers on-camera recording capabilities, and digital streaming capabilities of up to 14-bit data simultaneously, and 16 bits with DRX. The camera includes four-position motorized filter wheel that permits filter exchange in any environment, and automatic filter recognition. It features an adjustable frame rate of up to 106 Hz full frame, delivers images up to 4,500 Hz in windowing, 1.5 – 5.1 µm spectral range, and 5.8 electron well capacity.
