Cup And Lid Sterilization For Food Packaging: DOSOMAT AS
Laminar airflow cabinet
A combination of a laminar airflow cabinet with suitable filter grades and sterilization of packaging material makes a closed clean room and can be perfectly used for the following operation conditions.
- Processing with germ-infested packaging material
- Operation in rooms with high load of molds or other air-transported germs
- Operation in low rooms with high air circulation
- Operation in rooms with through-going traffic, e.g. fork lifters, goods transport
Cup sterilization with H2O2 and hot sterile air
Sterile air and H2O2 consumption, as well as all necessary valves and pipes are placed in a separate sterile module next to the machine.
The running cups are sterilized with a mix of sterile air and H2O2 and are dried on two further stations.
Cup sterilization with UVC-irradiation above the cups
consisting of:
- UV-high-pressure irradiators in most advanced design
- Irradiator housing with cooling fan
- Control unit for regulation of irradiation intensity.
Cup sterilization with "Pulsed Light"
A high-intensive flashlight with a flash interval of 0,1 sec. sterilizes the inner cup surface effectively.
Sterilization station, consisting of:
- Electrical control cabinet with loading and unloading electrics
- Optical cabinet with gas unloading reflectors
- Passive safety system (covers with safety switches)
- Active safety system, consisting of 2 pneumatically-driven feeders and 1 lifter for a light-tight closure of the sterilization area
- Frame and installation on DOSOMAT
Lid sterilization with H2O2 and hot sterile air
Sterile air and H2O2 consumption, as well as all necessary valves and pipes are placed in a separate sterile module next to the machine. MAK < 1 ppm.

consisting of:

Sealing film sterilization
Installation of a UV-irradiation system at the sealing film winding off of the DOSOMAT, consisting of:
- UV-high-pressure irradiatiors in most advanced design
- Irradiator housing with cooling fan
- Control unit for regulation of irradiation intensity
The sealing film is irradiated with UVC-light.
