Logicalis And Bridgehead Software In Worldwide Partnership To Improve Healthcare Data Retention, Security And Protection
Global high-performance technology provider Logicalis has announced a strategic partnership with Enterprise Data Management (EDM) specialist, BridgeHead Software, with the objective of providing expertise and technology to support critical healthcare information technology (IT) environments.
The partnership is intended to help IT professionals at healthcare organizations worldwide, who must maintain a high level of data availability to assure patient care, while dealing with the exponential growth of electronic patient medical records and high-resolution medical imaging.
The two companies will provide a consultative resource and a software platform to support these requirements, as well as addressing the growing requirements related to retaining, securing and protecting patient records in compliance with regional regulations such as the United States' Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Europe's EC 95/46 Directive, and Japan's HPB 517.
