Access Water® Launches As New Resource For Water Professionals

Platform provides streamlined ability to search and access technical information

The Water Environment Federation has launched Access Water, a portal that organizes information and technical content critical to the water sector into a single, central location. The content is developed for and by water sector professionals and provides approximately 20,000 pieces of content, including conference papers, magazine articles, technical reports, fact sheets, compilations, and books.

"Access Water is the latest chapter in WEF's longstanding tradition of connecting water professionals with the information and resources they need to do their jobs effectively," said WEF President Jackie Jarrell. "We are thrilled to introduce this simple way of accessing a constantly growing library of educational material.”

The Access Water platform is designed to fit the range of the water sector’s needs, from academic institutions that want to provide convenient access to the latest research for students to water resource recovery facilities improving operations through innovation. Users can search content by author, topic, year, and other filters. Access Water also expands the way content can be used. Users can build a personal library, easily cite resources, and bookmark content. Users can also comment on or create discussions around content, creating communities focused on specific items.

Access Water products are available on a pay-as-you-go basis or via an annual subscription.
