Got An ACE Up Your Sleeve?

What an amazing year we have had so far here at ECM Connection. The response to the new magazine and the merger with the ECM Connection Web community has been overwhelmingly positive, and for that I extend my personal thanks. Both readers and industry vendors have expressed their enthusiasm and appreciation for the expanded industry coverage and the continued highlights on ECM successes and thought leadership.

Through all the feedback and commentary, however, the most common inquiry I've faced by far has been, "So, what about the ACE and I-Cubed Awards?" This has been such a popular question that I lost track of how many times it has been asked. The only response I had was that we were "still working out the details." Not any more. Now it's finally time to let the cat out of the bag.

HAVE YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO BE AN ACE?
We've combined the best aspects of the former ACE Awards (sponsored by ECM Connection) and I-Cubed Awards (sponsored by Integrated Solutions magazine) into a brand-new award. The ACE moniker will remain and is designed to recognize vendors who truly distinguish themselves as Ambassadors for Content Excellence for their clients.

Think your content management solution has what it takes to be named an ACE? Let us know. Anyone who played a part in the solution can submit a nomination — whether it be from the vendor, a channel partner, or an end user. We will be looking for a winner in each of the five sections of the magazine: Imaging and Capture, Records Management and Compliance, SharePoint Strategies, Vertical Applications, and ECM Trends. So, whether your ECM implementation focuses on upstream scanning processes, solving challenges in vertical markets, satisfying compliance and eDiscovery concerns, or even harnessing the power of cloud computing or open source — you've got a chance to prove your ACE worthiness.

Nominations will close on June 25, 2010, so don't delay! Entries will be reviewed and judged by the ECM Connection editorial staff in conjunction with a panel of industry analysts and association representatives. September's ECM Connection will be an exclusive, special edition where winners in each category will be recognized through original case studies and editorial designed to showcase their successful solution and declare their ACE-worthiness.
