As Case receives application documents, OnBase communicates with the admissions and financial aid database applications to automatically update prospects' status. Case makes the information available via its Web site so that prospective students can view the documents Case has received, a list of missing documents still required, and a decision once it has been made.

The Admissions and Financial Aid departments receive a fraction of the incoming calls from prospective students checking on application status. Students like that they can check themselves, improving satisfaction and making them more likely to enroll.

With OnBase, Case has not had to add counselors even through they had a 60 percent jump in first-year applications. Not only do counselors process more applications, but each application receives more personal attention. In the first year alone, Case delivered decisions two weeks ahead of schedule and one month earlier than the year prior to implementing OnBase.

Most schools have too much application documentation to keep up with incomplete application packages manually. With OnBase, Case has the time and ability to prioritize best-fit prospects before they have submitted enough documentation for full consideration. That means Case can identify the best prospects and extend an offer before other schools even realize the prospect has applied.
