Town Of Glastonbury Announces E-Recording With Simplifile

The Town of Glastonbury has partnered with Simplifile to provide electronic recording of land documents, enabling customers to quickly and securely record documents via the Internet.

Glastonbury, CT (PRWEB) - The Town of Glastonbury is now electronically recording documents through Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording service, providing customers with a faster, more secure document recording option.

Using Simplifile’s web-based service, customers such as title companies, banks, and attorneys will be able to scan or electronically prepare and submit documents from their computer to the clerk’s office for recording, eliminating the need to send documents by mail, courier service, or driving to the clerk’s office.

Not only do we receive prompt payment, but we also have reduced costs, eliminated payment errors, and increased staff productivity,” Mascena said. “This is a win-win for the town and the submitters and customers we serve on a daily basis.”

With recording fees securely processed through Simplifile via Automated Clearing House, check-handling and the overall paper shuffle is also greatly reduced for the clerk’s office and her staff.

The Town of Glastonbury joins 11 other e-recording jurisdictions in Connecticut that have also made Simplifile’s e-recording service available to customers.
